Duh, yeah I'm not that stupid, I KNOW 'enjoyableness' isn't a word...don't have to send me emails insulting my English...stupid people...But anyways, this section is basically just things that make us happy to be a Backstreet Fan. Little things. Big things. Things in between. Just anything that makes us smile.
-Did ya see "Wannabes: Backstreet Boys" on MTV? There ARE friggin guy fans out there...and the hundreds of them on the sidewalks singing IWITW was enough to get me misty eyed.
-They care more for their fans than they do for themselves.
-The fans care more for them than they do for themselves.
-How they were so surprised that the B&B Jet was so nice and how they couldn't believe that it was THEM on it.
-The 48,000 fans in Rio that came to see them perform a 35 minute show...and they were all singing "Shape Of My Heart" even though they don't know English...while swaying...that is seriously, honest to God, THE most awesome site I've ever seen.
-Reading fan sites makes you want to create one, so you do, and people enjoy it, even the non-BSB fan people.
-You can instantly make friends with others who enjoy them as much as you do.
-You can instantly make foes with others who enjoy *NSync as much as you hate them.
-Some of the funniest things you've ever heard/seen came from the Boys.
-They are single handedly the 5 most attractive males in the world, and millions of people realize that.
-They have set unbelievable records and accomplished things that were never even heard of before they came along.
-When you read an awesome article about them you feel good about yourself.
-3:45 PM: You are officially pissed at the world, everyone in it, and you want to die. 3:50 PM: Pop in "Millennium." 4:30 PM: "Good afternoon! How are you today? I'm great, thanks for asking!" is what you say to people you meet on the street. Now THAT is what they do to us.
-You're not embarassed to show your devotion to them, but your friends/family are. And well, frankly, you could care less.
-Knowing that you have created a new BSB fan is the greatest feeling in the world.
-They've been compared to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and in most cases, people know they're better than either of them.
-They have molded the essence of pop music for years to come, and years past. And people know it. Whether they admit it or not is their problem.
-They traveled 26,000 (frickin) miles around the world to see millions of people they will never meet, and they waved to them and sang to them.
-They've been through more in 10 years than most people will ever go through in their whole lives and yet they're "larger than life," "millions strong," and "as long as there'll be music, they'll be comin' back again."
-It's awesome that they can admit that they don't understand the lyrics to IWITW, the biggest pop single in history, the "National Anthem of pop music" (yes it's been called that, and no, it wasn't by me)
-People don't grow out of their music, they grow WITH it.
-It's gotta be a good feeling to know that there are millions of people in the world that would go anywhere for you, do anything for you, and will stick by your side forever.
-Have you seen their frickin' music videos?! There's 13 reasons to love them right there!
-All the fans KNOW that they had to work hard to get where they are now, they KNOW how they were formed (thanks to Mr. Oh-I-Gotta-Tell-Them-How-We-Got-Together, Howie Dorough himself) and we know the TRUTH, and we will always know the truth, no matter what anyone says.
-One day, all the fans will band together and create a Backstreet Boys Memorial Museum or something.
-Why the hell are they the perfect men and yet we can't have them?! Wtf is up with that?!
-30 years down the road, we will hear them on the Oldies radio stations and our kids will be like "oh my god how can you listen to this?" and we'll just sit back and sing along like we did when we were 13.
-For the rest of time, new up-and-coming musical acts will be compared to them. They have officially set the bar, and in all honesty, the bar ain't movin' anywhere...EVER.
